By combining the load restraint characteristics of a rigid wall van with the advantage of a side opening trailer, the Maxi-CUBE Slide-A-Side can significantly reduce turnaround time for operators.

The lead model is available with a fixed body suitable for side loading and unloading. It is also available with a roll back mechanism to allow dock loading and unloading if required.

Main Applications: Chilled produce, dairy and other temperature controlled or dry freight goods.

  • Ability to access the side and rear of the trailer for fast loading/unloading
  • Rack and pinion mechanism driven by a hydraulic motor shifts the trailer body ready for loading/unloading
  • The hydraulic roll back system lifts the body weight off the rollers when set in forward position to extend roller life
  • Wall foam panels are extruded to size. Providing maximum thermal insulating properties
  • Composite, steel and aluminium floor construction results in lower tare mass
  • Cast extruded insulated flooring is superior to spray on alternatives and comes with galvanised steel backing for protection from damage
